ISRAEL TOUR
NOVEMBER 30, 2011 - DECEMBER 13, 2011

Shalom! Beth and I want to invite to join us and our family on the trip of a lifetime - a pilgrimage to the land of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Y'shua - the land of Israel. Taking this tour brings you face to face with the history recorded in the Bible and allows you to see it, touch it and experience it. Perhaps even more importantly, this trip will connect you to an integral part of your spiritual heritage - the very land deeded to Abraham and to his seed (Gen. 12:7). According to Paul, those in Messiah are the "seed of Abraham and heirs according to the promise" (Gal. 3:29) and, as you know, one of those promises was the land of Israel. So Beth and I are convinced that when your feet touch the soil of this "promised land," you are going to feel what so many have expressed when first going to the land - "I'm home!"

For so many reasons, we are truly excited about this tour. We are still putting together some of the details but wanted to go ahead and notify you of the dates. The price has been finalized at $3530.00, a fair price to pay for "The Trip of a Lifetime".  In the meantime, if you think you would like to join us, please contact Journeys “R” Us about deposit requirements. You can reach them at (813) 299-6875 or (813) 299-6874 with any further questions you may have.

Regarding security, I have been to Israel many times over the last twenty years and have NEVER had a problem. The Biblical sites are generally away from contested areas, and our guides, drivers, and people on the ground keep us informed and safe. In fact, most people feel safer in Israel than they do in many places in their own country. We do hope you will prayerfully consider joining us and are looking forward to journeying with you to the beautiful land of Israel.

Highlights include:
Mt. Carmel - the sight of Elijah's confrontation with the prophets of Ba'al
A restful Shabbat on the banks of the Galilee
A jeep tour through the Golan Heights
Dead Sea area, including Qumran
Masada
Camel ride in the desert before lunch in a Bedouin camp.
