Regarding security, I have been to Israel many times over the last twenty years and have NEVER had a problem. The Biblical sites are generally away from contested areas, and our guides, drivers, and people on the ground keep us informed and safe. In fact, most people feel safer in Israel than they do in many places in their own country.
